What Channel Is CMT On Spectrum?

Most Spectrum customers can find CMT on Channel 293.  However, that’s not the case in many of the big cities Spectrum operates in and that’s really annoying.

We created a guide to all the CMT channels available for Spectrum subscribers in the major cities that Spectrum operates in.

Spectrum CMT

In most of Texas, the CMT Channel on Spectrum is on Channel 293.  That’s for the cities of Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Austin, and El Paso.

Besides 293, you can watch Country Music Television on the following channels.

Corpus Christi: 43, 293
San Antonio: 51, 293
Austin: 70, 293
El Paso: 71, 293

CMT Pure Country is available on Spectrum in Corpus Christi and San Antonio on Channel 294.

Dallas as usual has different stations compared to the rest of Texas.

To watch CMT in Dallas, you’ll need to go to channels 91 or 804.  CMT Pure Country is on Channel 235 in Dallas as well.

CMT on Spectrum

The right channel to watch CMT on Spectrum in New York is Channel 293.

Besides 293, you can watch CMT in Albany on Channel 84 and watch CMT in Buffalo on Channel 21.

Buffalo is the only place in New York that has access to CMT Pure Country.  There it’s on Chanel 294.

To watch Country Music Television in North Carolina, go to channel 293.

You also have the option to watch CMT on Channel 51 in Charlotte, and Channel 69 in both Durham and Raleigh.

Other Places to Watch

To watch CMT in Kentucky as a Spectrum customer, go to channels 821 or 942.  CMT Pure Country is available in Kentucky on Channel 822.

There’s lowered number channels in Lexington on Channel 56 and 66 in Louisville.

For most of California, you can watch CMT on Channel 293.  Besides 293, you can watch CMT on channel 66 in San Diego.

Long Beach and Bakersfield are outliers.  In Bakersfield, you can watch CMT on channels 53, 803, or 1803.

People who live in Long Beach can surf to channels 154 or 744 to watch CMT and 152 to watch CMT Pure Country.

California GAC Family Channel on Spectrum

The CMT Channel on Spectrum is on channels 254 and 1254 in Cincinnati and Cleveland.  It’s also on 72 in Cincinnati and 88 in Cleveland.

If you live in Columbus Ohio, you can watch the Country Music Television on channels 77, 821, and 942.  CMT Pure Country is on Channel 822 in Columbus.

There’s not much rhyme or reason for the remaining CMT channel locations in the other cities we’ve surveyed.
