What Channel Is ESPNU On Xfinity?

by Mark Chen | Updated 1/1/24

ESPNU is on Channel 200+ on your Xfinity TV. It’s annoying to memorize and it’s difficult that there are multiple and different channels depending on where you live.

This is confusing when you just want to see how your alma mater is doing during homecoming.

We wanted to fix that so we researched where ESPN is on the major cities Xfinity offers its services.

Check out the list below.

ESPNU On Xfinity For Californians

ESPNU is on channels 420 and 788 in California for Xfinity customers.  This will work for the cities of San Jose, San Francisco, Fresno, Sacramento, Oakland, and Stockton.

In much of the East Coast, finding the right channel for ESPNU is as simple as it is for California.

Channels 730 and 853 are the right channels to watch ESPNU in DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh.

The only slight modification that you’ll need to make is for Pittsburg where instead of Channel 730, you’ll need to watch on Channel 174 instead.

Comcast ESPNU Channels (WA/OR/UT)

To watch ESPNU on your Comcast TV in Washington, go to either Channel 400 or 621.  Those are the right channels for big cities like Seattle, Spokane, and Tacoma.

If you live in Oregon, ESPNU is on channels 411 and 727.

Vancouver Washington shares more in common with Oregon compared to Washington and the right channel is that city is 411 and 727 instead of 400 and 621.

You can watch ESPNU in Utah on channels 400 and 755.  There’s also an option to watch on Channel 1301 in Salt Lake City if you’re so inclined.

Other Channels You Can Watch

The right channel for ESPNU in Florida for Xfinity customers is Channel 396.

In addition to Channel 396, you can also watch on Channel 735 in Tallahassee, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale and on Channel 744 in Jacksonville and Orlando.

Indiana residents can watch ESPNU on channels 280 and 1720.

869 is the right channel for people who live in Minnesota.  If you want a lowered numbered channel, you can watch ESPNU on Channel 269 in Saint Paul and 729 in Minneapolis

Colorado is pretty interesting.  ESPNU is on channels 404 and 669 in Denver and Boulder and 1301 is a common channel between Boulder and Colorado Springs.

The lowered numbered channels for Colorado Springs are a little bit different – being on channels 175 and 732.

Where Else Can You Watch

Although ESPNU isn’t as hard to find on Comcast as other channels, there’s a couple of cities that don’t share a lot of the same channels in common with the rest of the state.

Chicago: 253, 405
