What Channel Is NBC On Cox?

NBC is on different channels on Cox depending on your zip code.

Arizona Cox NBC Channels

NBC is on Channel 12 and Channel 1012 on Cox in the Arizona cities of Phoenix, Mesa, Glendale, and Scottsdale.

The only place in Arizona where this is not the case is Tucscon, where you’ll need to press and go to channels 4 or 1004 instead.

Las Vegas is pretty close to Arizona and there the right channel to watch NBC is 3 or 1003.

If you haven’t noticed, there’s typically two channels for NBC and Cox in general.  The farther-out channel is the HD channel for Cox customers – especially those who have older equipment and plans.

See what channel NBC or whatever you’re trying to watch on Cox and add 1000 to get the HD channel.

NBC On Cox (CA/GA)

Channel 7 and Channel 1007 are the right channels to watch NBC for Cox subscribers in San Diego and its surrounding cities like Oceanside and Escondido.

Other places where Cox offers their service in California include Santa Barbara and Irvine, where NBC is on 6 and 1006 in Santa Barbara and 4 and 1004 in Irvine.

The NBC channel in Santa Barbara and Irvine is super station KNBC4.  It has more local programming than most NBC channels nationwide.

It’s also funny that it’s called KNBC4 but it’s on Channel 6 in Santa Barbara.

Most Cox channels have an HD and non-HD version but places, where that’s not the case, include Tulsa and Gainesville.

In those places, you can only watch on Channel 2 in Tulsa and Channel 9 in Gainesville.

East Coast Channels

You can watch NBC on Cox on channels 3 and 1003 in Baton Rouge and Lafayette.

Residents of New Orleans can go to channels 7 and 1007 instead.

Cox is also a popular option in Virginia – especially in the Alexandria and Virginia Beach area.

Virginia Beach has a bunch of cities like Hampton and Norfolk and the right channel to watch NBC in all those cities is Channel 10 and 1010.

If you live in Alexandria, all you need to do to start watching NBC is to go to channel 4 or 1004.

Hopefully, that’s not too difficult.

Other Places To Watch

To close it off, Cox has a big presence in the heartland of America in states like Kansas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska.

There’s not much logic as to which channels NBC is on in those states.  It’s just easier to take a look at the list below and find your city and the right channel.
